Streets of London

I have been travelling the streets of London, my home town, for the last ten days. Sitting in Coffee shops, people watching....recording ideas and inspired thoughts. It was snowing, cold and lovely, when you went inside everything was cosy and warm, the stark contrast of hot to cold and back to hot was great, warming up inside with wonderful mugs of hot chocolate, how I would have loved to have spent a little more time there.

I got a grip of myself and planned my writing agenda, as the minus1 temperature chilled my cheeks, and provided me with a renewed energy.

Home again with piles of observations and my mind has frozen (not literally) I watch the screen of my friendly laptop, I write some words and erase them again...........and again.......and again.

Auspicious words......muddled thoughts.

Tomorrow is yet another day.

Demands

AAAAAH! I am finding it very hard to be unsociable. I have stopped going out to my regular bar with partner to watch Real Madrid. Now as more people arrive for hols and want to visit me it´s very difficult to say NO, I can´t I am busy. They think I can´t possibly be busy, but I live here and am not in holiday mode. Is it your illness they ask, NO it isn´t my illness this is with me forever and I try not to let it interfere in my life. I AM GENUINELY BUSY.I am writing , this is not seen as something to be busy with.

Anyway dear friends and family, I can give you some time but not all of it, understand my need to write and be patient. I love you all.

Now another thing you should know about me is that I am a hat person, I like to wear them for writing and painting or even just generally. I have a selection, some for ideas and inspiration and others for re editing, or just looking for a theme for my next exhibition. My favourite is a small black velvet hat with a long tassle...this is my spiritual hat, and I have begun the year with this one, it helps me answers the whys? and wherefores?

The books are now divided into piles and only one remains on the desk, This I have decided I will finish by March ready for presentation....let´s see! here you will read of its progress or non progress...and its trials and tribulations of which I am sure there will be many

A little organisation,is whats needed!

Today We had rain, not much but some, watching from the terrace as it fell lightly, inspired me to begin to organise all the papers. I managed to throw some thoughts away, whilst other random thoughts I place in a file. I felt at last I had achieved something, having placed the book all in one pile I saw immediately that I was not happy with some and revisions were needed. I hope it rains tomorrow, and the next day.

This is how it is!

Not a good start, but let me explain, I am a prolific writer, I always have a small notebook in my bag to record thoughts that enter my head. I have three novels sitting on the shelf, one finished, the other short of the ultimate chapters, but I lost the feeling for it...so it was shelved!!the third was for children but its way too long and needs shortening and awaiting the completed illustrations. I have another on disc in progress, set in the late 60´s and one finished but needs editing on Spirituality..yep I know what your thinking evrything so different, but I am happy with the spiritual one.Where I write the floor, the shelves, the desk and the bin are full of scribbles. My computer is full of ramblings and illustrations, and i have loads of notebooks bursting with lines.

Most of all I have a heart full of words. ......but I need order!

My idea is that maybe using this blog to revise my progress and share my failings will help me to get order. So if anone reads this blog thanks for reading, and I value your comments
